 ACCOMMODATION
Q: Do you arrange accommodation?
A: Your Own Choice of Accommodation!
You can choose your accommodation after you come to Edmonton. You can check the long list of accommodations and visit them while you stay in the official hotel of ELTC. The hotel is located only two blocks from the College. By speical agreement, the hotel room charge is only $200 dollars plus tax for one student, for one week! The hotel has a very nice resturant, swimming pool and sauna, (bring your bathing suit)! During your relazing hotel stay, you will have the opportunity to visit several homestays or shared accommodations.

Q: How can I ask you to reserve my room at the official hotel?
A: When your arrrival date is decided, please fax, email or telephone us. We will reserve a room for you.

 Q: How can I go to the hotel?
A: We provide an airport pickup service by limousine for $107. You can also take a taxi or shuttle bus. The hotel's detailed informaiton is:

Q: How much do I have to pay for accomodation?
A; Accomodations are very reasonalbe in our city.
Shared houses (single room, share kitchen and bathroom) $350 ~ $400/month
Homestay (single room, 3 meals a day) $550 ~ $ 600/month
Apartment bachelors (Single room, no furniture ) $500 ~ $700/month.

Classes

Q: I don't know my level.
A: It's OK.
There are many classes at ELTC (with different levels). If you want to change your class, it's OK! We want you to be in the best class for you, so during the first week of your classes, if you think you should change your level, it's OK! Go to the Registraton office, speak to one of the staff people, change your class. Easy.

Q: I don't konw which class I should take.
A: Don't worry, no problem. Choose the class you think is best for you. When you arrive at ELTC, you can attend the class you chose. If you think it is the best class for you, you can stay in that class, or you can change you class. You have a week to be sure.

Q; When can I start my class?
A: Your schedule must start on a Monday.
When you are filling our your registration form, you must decide your start day. It must be a Monday. It can be any Monday you decide, (depending on your alrrival to Canada ). If Monday is a holiday, then you will start on Tuesday.

 Airport Pickup
Q: I want to have an airport pickup. How can I ask you to arrage one for me?
A: If you require an airport pickup service, please indicate 'airport pickup' on your registration form and include $107 with your tuition fee. When your flight schedule is decided, please fax, email, or telephone us. We arrange the airport pickup with Crystal Limosine.

 The Letter of Acceptance
Q: How can i get the 'Letter of Acceptance' from the College?
A: The 'Letter of Acceptance' is issued and mailed to you, as soon as your registraion is confirmed. We confirm your registraion when we receive your registration form (which should be completed) and payment.

 Student Visa (Student Authorization)
Q: How can I get Student Visa?
A: Since requirements for Student Authorization (Student Visa) can change...it is best to check with your closest Canadian Embassy or Consulate. They have most accurate information.

Q: How much I pay my tuiton fee to the College?
A: You can pay by:
1. cheque, payable to : The Emglish Languge Training College.
2. credit card (VISA, AmEX, MC, or JCB)
3. bank transfer (contact us for banking information by email, fax (780)425-8199, or telephone (780) 429-4848
All tuition fees will be returned, if you application for Student Authorization (Student Visa) is rejected.

Q: Can I telephone ELTC if I have questins?

Our staff is very nice. They will help you with all your questions. We prefer that you try to speak English , but if you have too much difficulty, we have staff members who speak many languages. Try to speak English , please; the staff can here your level and help answer your questins better. Don't worry, the staff is very nice. You can also fax your questions, (780) 425-8199, if you prefer.

Q: Should I make an appointment to speak to the staff?
A: You can phone anytime during office hours. If you need speical time , (outside of office house), you can reserve by email, fax, or postal mail. We will have a staff member ready to speak to you.

Q: How long has ELTC operated?
A: The English Language Language Training College was opened in 1992.

Q: I want to telephone you, so I would like to know what time is ELTC open?

Q: When is school break?
A: There is no break at ELTC
School continues all year. There are some Canadian holidays, (usually one day), during which the school is closed, and a small break for Chistmas. Some students would like to have a break(holiday) between classes. If you would like to have a break, you must schedule it on your registration form. It is simple . For example : If you want to take a one week break after your class, just schedule your second class to start on 'Monday... one week later' .Remember, if you have any difficulty, just contact ELTC. staff . They can always help.

 Q: When should I come to the College?
A: All students begin classes on Mondays.
Usually students arrive in Canada before Monday. Then they can rest, before they start classes. After they have rested, they visit the College and the downtown area, (shopping). If you arrive in Canada before Monday, you are welcome to visit the College. Students visit to ask questions, or see the school , while other students just come to say "Hello, I'm here!". Whatever your reason.. you are Welcome!
